What Fiddleback Forge knife are you totin' today?

One of Allen's Loveless designs that I picked up at the ICCE in Kansas City a while back.

Sorry but I'm gonna cheat and borrow Phillip's sale picture here. This "arrived" to my PO box on Saturday but I didn't get it until today after harrassing the USPS supervisor on the whereabouts. Someone accidentally put it in another PO box next to mine. I'm just glad my neighbor didn't find and keep a free bog oak Sylvrfalcen and Gaucho. (phew!)

EDC II. I am actually really liking the lanyard. It was installed on the knife from Fiddleback Outpost when I got it in the mail from them. It is a nice touch.

Thanks Douglas. My 10 year old daughter asked to pick out what I carried today and these were her choice. I definitely wasn't going to argue.
If the ironwood Bushboot doesn't fo it for you for some crazy reason, please give me a yell.

Thanks for the compliments on the Sylvrfalcen but all I did was buy it. Andy and crew kinda did all the work. :)

Ok, quick and dirty phone pic of the Gaucho. The comments prompted me to swap to the Gaucho last evening and give it a try. I like the little bit of extra weight on the Bog Oak Gaucho vs the evergreen burlap Gaucho (weight diff between the wood and burlap I suppose). We were having taco salad so I was excited to give it a try in prepping the veggies but alas, she had gotten shredded lettuce and cherry tomatoes to make prep quicker.

Definitely not the best pic given the blur on the spalting but the handle and angle there came out nice to give you an idea.

I like a short lanyard on knives in deep-carry sheaths. I can grip them with my index finger as I draw with my forefinger gripping the handle. It makes drawing a good bit easier.

I have actually carried my Gaucho quite a bit as an edc in an APS sheath. I like it a lot. It's probably technically a little big for edc, but since Andy does not do a smaller version of it, it often dominates my edc rotation anyway. It stays in my pack in my pack in the truck in a dangler sheath most of the time anyway, so it's always a quick swap.
