I was at a chrome shop with my dad earlier and he saw me eye balling this case trapperlock. Now I have a case trapperlock...

Daizee, you should have waited a year. Benchmade released a mini grip at SHOT '13 with g10 scales. Theirs a thread on it in general knife discussion.

the edge on one of the larger teeth works perfect as a ferro rod striker without any adjustments needed. ill see if i can come up with a small handle idea to add to the tooth, either way it works as is and produces plenty of sparks!!

Ooooh, never tought of them that way. I'll have to check that. I still have a few left of that batch, the rest went to that museum. I suppose you won't be able to use them for a long time? They're hard, but rather brittle, especially along the edge. Have to check this out, thanks for the tip.

i didnt notice any damage but i wouldnt make it your only striker either just in case! but its mighty awesome to start a fire with a ferro rod and a shark tooth! shark tooth necklace and your ferro rod as a last resort would be a cool last resort method, atleast it look pretty bada$$ to the people around you, thanks again man.

That's a good lookin knife. I'm not familiar with that model. Is this something fairly new?
 
I really don't know much about the history of it but once I set eyes on it I fell in love (with the knife :D). I don't know what case does but this thing is crazy smooth. I was going to pay but he bought it for me. I ended up stuffing the money in my dads wallet of I wouldn't be able to use it because I didn't work for it or anything. Just how I am.
 
I'm usually not too big on traditionals, but I'll have to admit, that's a sweet looking knife DJ.
