It is darker now, to be sure, but the lighting is also way different. The first shots were taken under a light bulb, the later, of course, outside.

That ESEE 3 is one of my all time favorite knives. Great lightweight hiking buddy. I had forgotten how good the 6 is too until I took it out for a bit the other day.

I came really close to pulling the trigger on a 6 the other day. Real close. I kind of look at my BK2+ design, as a 6, compared to a 5. Pretty much the same, with the choil on the 6. The 6 has a ffg though.

The -3 I have is a Mil Clip. Some cops give me trouble about it being a "double edge" knife.

That's why I went with the standard version. I actually like the clipped better, but didn't want to borrow trouble.

I will say, the clip does AMAZING for throwing sparks on a fire steel.

I'm used to a "Clip point" being the BK-17 style or the Buck style knife. I decided to go ahead and get it and just see how I liked it.

If you layed your finger down on the spine while using it, is it sharp enough to cut you?
Or is it not fully sharpened?

It is sharpened (partly my own doing) however it isn't the full length of the spine, it only goes about half the length.

I have an ESEE-4 and I love it, it's my EDC bag knife. Is there any substantial reason to get a 3 as well if you have the 4?

Why get a 14 if you have a 16? Cause we like knives and we like options and the more knives we have the more options we have.

Now, shut up and buy a 3, and an izula, and a candiru.

I think so. The 3 is substantially lighter and makes a great light EDC or dayhiker. I gave mine away and picked up a new one the other day.

The 4 is chunky and the 3 is slicy.

I had an ESEE-4 for a while and sold it. Great knife, and I beat the shit out of it.

I actually want a Candiru really really bad but the way I would use/carry it is for EDC tasks and I can't conceal carry a fixed so it kind of defeats the purpose of buying it for me. I'll put the ESEE-3 on my list, it is a pretty long list however ;)

So I have been in contact with Jeff from Solo Stove. He has agreed that if I purchase a Solo Stove from their site and review it on my YT channel and on the 3 forums I frequent (here,E2E and BCUSA), He will reimburse me 100% of my money. Now I just have to come up with the dough. But pretty cool, I think.

Hey CB this was the yield off my first batch of Limoncello:

The other batch is still steeping to get all the essential oils out.
