I just saw that, too. Prices like that don't pop up often.

For ESEE, I like the 3, 6, and Junglas a lot. Candiru I carry, but many times just grab the Leek or Cryo instead to clip on my pocket. It's cool, but doesn't get much use. 4 and 5 are kind of the outsiders for me.
 
I really like the ESEE5 but cant see any improvements over the BK2. Especially since I prefer the grivory over micarta on beckers.

Hunting season is over, so I'm switching back to my 'bushcraft' blade on my pack.
Dresnor, that's the saber-ground green-handled one you liked at the NE Gathering.
It has a new role now, same location.
 
Why are people going back to saying they want the Becker line in 1/4"?!? That is too f(...)g THICK! Is there some reason the current size isn't good enough? I mean are you breaking your 7s and 9s? If you are, what the hell are you trying to chop through 6' concrete sewer pipe?!! I don't get it. I really don't. I understand with a knife the size of the king you COULD be potentially worried about it breaking, till you use it! It's a very well made piece of steel.

1/4" is too thick, IMO to be really usable, unless it's intended to be a prybar like the BK3.

Priceless.............let me guess. It didn't applogise about it either. The M-18 is bad about that.;)

That had to be both disappointing and satisfying. Disappointing because you couldn't finish the chop-off, and satisfying because that M-18 is the shit!
 
That chop at about the 0:47 mark scared me, haha. Had that loose hand out of yer pocket.
