Propthepolecat, Dubz has linked it before.
Anybody know the members name that came up with the Eskabar prototype? and or can link me to the original thread. Reviewing the 14 and I want to make sure I get my info correct.
Thanks Murph
Does anyone have a Worksharp here? We have one at work to sharpen customer knives and I bring mine in sometimes but that gets annoying, I would like to have one at home. Is the ease of use worth the price over my mousepad/sandpaper?
Thinking about getting some wood carving tools. Knives, glove, etc. I did okay on the carving I did with the Remora. I think I could do pretty good with the right equipment.
That's the only carving I've done, except for a small bead, that didn't turn out so hot. Have to have the short bladed knives for carving. Well, don't have to, but it's a lot easier to get control.pretty good he says---not sure if we are talking about the same carving--but the one I saw was pretty amazing. With the right tools (bigger Beckers?) you could carve something that rivals Michelangelo's (not the ninja turtle) scultpture of David.![]()
