What is the "Sebenza" of the traditional knife world??

^ I like how this thread is forcing us to think.
Although, I agree with the above that it's ultimately unrealistic, I've really enjoyed the challenge.
 
As an answer to the OP's original question . Nobody has mentioned J Oeser knives so far . At least I don't think so . They seem like they could measure up to a Sebenza in quality so they could measure up as a quality benchmark . I've never handled either but looking at his site they look pretty impressive https://www.joeserknives.com/#j-oeser-custom-knives

The only issue with an Oeser is they are made from unobtanium. There is the bar, Jared creates way above it!
