What is this part 2

I'll follow some sound advise at this point.
Never waste your time arguing with someone who is intent on misunderstanding you.
I am intent on misunderstanding you?

This is a discussion forum about knives, made up of enthusiasts.

So far your discussion is that you don't care if a company makes fakes, and that you'll buy the ones that aren't fakes from the same company.

What am I missing?

Oh... yeah... also saying now you don't like this forum or it's members, and your just here now out of spite?

Good luck on your quest.

Tactile Knife Company are my neighbors here in Dallas. They made a name for pens but have entered the knife world with The Rockwall, The Bexar and a fixed blade. The one that might interest you most is their largest folder, The Maverick, releasing in early 2023.
Maverick looks nice, just went to view it. Evidently there will be a micarta version, probably going to need to get that.

Love Crowder! Not this forum or its patrons or knife nuts in general from what I'm experiencing so far, but I'm not going anywhere without being kicked out. If for no other reason than spite, at this point.
You do you playa. So far the 2 knives are from well known cloners. Of course it’s not gonna be a warm welcome. I forget who said it earlier but most of us here “love” knives not just “like” them. The companies in question still sale counterfeits, it’s hard for most of “us” to look past that. I’ve not read your edits so forgive my ignorance.

As I said earlier, you shouldn’t need validation for what you’re buying. If this isn’t the place for you, try Reddit. They are a ok with cloners. I recommend taking a step back, browse the edc thread for inspiration and stop gaslighting people. Wow, it feels good to use fancy wokeisms, now I know why you kept saying people were virtue signaling [redacted emoticon]

As the one who started that thread, no, it's not even applicable here. Being new doesn't excuse repeatedly promoting a known seller of counterfeits.

You're not being bullied, you're not being attacked, stop playing the victim. You crossed a long and well-established line on this forum, in two threads on the same day, and as someone who has defended new members here on countless occasions over the years I firmly believe the criticism you have received is justified.

Buy whatever you want from wherever you want, most on this forum won't care how you choose to spend your money. But on an internet forum reputation is everything, it's your reputation that determines if people will trust you, and respect you, and bother to take the time to ever answer your questions.

I've been on this forum a long time, and from what I've seen, about THE WORST thing you can do here, short of ripping someone off in a deal, is promote and defend a Chinese vendor who sells counterfeits of US makers knives. That is something people won't forget, or forgive. People on this forum have LONG memories, they will forever remember you as the guy who buys from Aliexpress, and that's toxic.

And that brings me to something called "the law of unintended consequences". If you ever try to sell a knife on this forum, the people who know you from this thread (1000 views so far) are not going to want to buy from you.

And anyone else who may have considered buying from you will do a search of your post history to learn more about you, which takes all of two clicks. They will find this thread and see you as someone who buys knives from Aliexpress, a well-known source of counterfeits. And they are naturally going to be suspicious of anything you sell. They are going to think to themselves- "If he buys knives from a seller of counterfeits, maybe the knife he is selling is a counterfeit. No thanks, I'll pass".

When you throw your credibility away on this forum, it doesn't come back. And promoting a counterfeiter, and defending buying from them, is a great way to throw away your credibility here.

You might think were all a bunch of idiots who care too much about a vendor that sells counterfeits, but we do care, that's just the way it is. You came to us, we didn't drag you here.

Sure, by all means, stick around, keep starting threads, and keep talking about buying knives from Aliexpress if you want (or until the Mods say otherwise). But like I said on page one, I don't think things will go well for you here, for the reasons I've provided, not because we're all a bunch of virtue signaling meanies.

Sorry no gaslighting here. Just calling spades spades. And i never sought validation as all my posts clearly stated, I was seeking verification of authenticity of design. Amazing how delusional you all are. Definitely not the place for me I'm finding.

Not sure why I have to keep stating this, but... because I'm trying to avoid counterfeits, because I can afford and would prefer original designs if these in fact are not. Really don't understand what's so difficult to grasp about that for so many.
Good that you’re trying to avoid counterfeit knives. I haven’t read everything in this thread but understand that some folks are discouraging this purchase for various reasons.

I would suggest passing because you imply that you can afford a quality knife. Chances are you can do much better if that’s what you’re looking for rather than just a fidget toy/costume jewlery. I’d also tell someone that found the “most beautiful” gas station knife to pass for the same reason - your chances of getting a bad product are very high…

Ok - got my popcorn!🍿

Your delusional. I was attacked, but I'm not playing victim, in fact I still said after being attacked repeatedly that its all good and i hold no ill will. You're a bunch of virtue signaling people, for sure, but I'd never use the word meanie. Maybe more like mean girls. Seems very accurate frankly. Like a mob or gang maybe, but like a Broadway show version where you all snap in unison while prancing down a street to some really effeminate song. Maybe I'm just projecting, now that kind of sounds like fun. But clearly you guys were right, this is not at all a place for me. I very much dislike you folk. Still, worth a shot since I paid this garbage place for membership.

This you?

Saying how you don't trust scammers and liars, and then in the same turn get upset when we point out scamming and lying companies.

Do you ever stop to think about what are the reasons you get kicked out of so many forums?
