  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What is your absolute favorite knife?

I have so many that I love but these two get the most use and pocket time so they are my current favorites with the GEC #54 being the top choice.

I love my XM-18. It is fun to play with, feels good in my hand, and can take abuse and come back for more. I've dropped the darn thing on it's tip at least three times on the concrete without much damage at all. I carry it everyday feeling as if I ever have to depend on it for anything, it would not let me down.

Easy to answer; The knife that Dr. Keith Nelson made just for me, coming out of a 10-15 years of haitus from knife makingfor this one-off only. Beautiful piece, and some pretty amazing things going on behind the scenes with it as well.

There is more info on this knife here;

My favorite knife is actually one that doesn't get much pocket time, but I keep it in my work bag and it still gets use in the woods. It's my c. 1996 Wenger Mountaineer. It was a present from my parents before my first campout with the scouts back in '96. All these years and it's still a performer.

At work as a firefighter I carry the Spyderco Pacific Salt because of the no rust factor, off duty I would have to say my favorite knife would be the Microtech Socom series.

Benchmade 943 - The perfect EDC and I never leave home without it.
