  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What is your absolute favorite knife?

At the moment I'm in love with a Survive! GSO 5.1, very well made, razor sharp, super comfortable in the hand. I also love my Busse TGLB quite a bit as well.

Wow. If you ever want to earn some cash the easy way and decide to sell the Ti one, please let me know. The Laconico Slim is now officially one of my grails.

Not sure I could choose between Sebenza and Mnandi. But to add something different to this thread, I'll go with the one that completes the three way tie for me: Laconico Slim EDC.

Just got a Spyderco Southard, so that bumps my Benchmade 707 down a spot on that list. I have a bunch of sentimental knives that I don't feel like "ranking" though, Like a Mora 2000 that I found when I was a kid and got lost a few years ago, tons of memories about it and now is back where it belongs:) Others consists of knives I have received from special people in my life(mostly early).

my favorite folder is a spyderco military im a lefty and love it my sheath knives are ether a esee 4 or a coldsteel master hunter

I got a nameless folder from my grandfather years ago. It looked like an Italian Stiletto but I lost it. I liked the idea of getting a special knife that I could pass onto my son when the time comes. I decided on something that's special but functional. Something he can keep on him at all times so I got this:

It's the Victorinox 2012 limited edition Soldiers Knife. 5000 were made. I have number 3838. It sparked my new hobby of collecting folders. I still love it best of all my knives. The smell of the wood, the unique pattern on the damascus. I love that thing :)

For me it's the Victorinox Hiker. I've had one in my pocket everyday for 42 years and it will open cans, cut stuff, unscrew stuff, strip wire, peel shim stock, poke a new hole in a belt, clean your fingernails, saw a 2x4 in half, pick your teeth and pull a splinter. I'm sure there are a few uses that I have left out but you get the idea.
I also carried a Buck 110 every day for several years in the late 70s which I still have but can't seem to find it amongst a lifetime of accumulated "stuff".

OH gosh...I am not sure....I think my blue scales, pm2 clip endura. It does it all, cuts stuff large and small, is pretty and blue, light, thin in my pocket. Has a good strong tip. A wave opener that is larger than the delicas and even better suited for bottle opening. But I really love that dragonfly as well.

For the last year it's been a real toss-up between the ESEE3 and the Becker BK-15. Recently, though, I got a TM Hunt Magua and it's been one of those knives that just works for me. It's small and unintimidating enough that I can get away with it at work, too, so I've always got it with me.

I've had a lot of spydies, benchmades and others but oddly enough my favourite is the cheap CRKT Drifter SS; inexpensive, better fit and finish and blade cantering then knives twice the cost. I'm drawn to the plain jane looking, manual folders.

Call me crazy

One of those complete junk survival knives that they used to sell back in the 80's. My brother purchased this back in about '80-'82. He passed away in 1987.

I have had a LOT of different knives throughout my 34 years. I don't use many fixed blades, but I would have to say my favorite is my black USMC ka-bar short version. Perfect all=around belt knife for me.

Folders/pocket knives are a little harder to decide on. Out of all of them, I would have to say my all-time favorite is my Microtech UTX-70 S/E. While I can only carry this in my house/property, I find it an excellent little pocket knife for life in suburbia. I carry IWB at about 4:00 and the keyring on the end of the clip would dig into my side, so i removed the clip and ground/sanded off the keyring. I also cut a bunch of carpet after a move (it was the only knife I had on me) and wore a bunch of the black coating off. It looked like crap, so I spent 3 hrs with a bunch of scrubby pads to remove the rest of the coating. It is the perfect knife for me now and the more I carry it, the more I like it. The S35VN holds a great edge too.

Case Russlock: Traditional style with modern convenience. It marked my transition away from folding prybars.

My favorite fixed blade is my H.I. Ganga Ram Special 18".
My favorite folder is my CRKT Liong Mah Eraser.
