  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What is your absolute favorite knife?

...there is a point at which trying to find out if its reliable turns into trying to prove to yourself it is not.

This is the best I've ever heard this put. I have no strong feeling either way about the axis, but we sure see this kind of behavior around here a lot, don't we?

The spyderco stretch. Nothing can keep it out of my pocket. I have bought a lot of knives that just sit around and barely get any pocket time unless I force myself to use them so i don't feel like I wasted money.

This is what happened to me too. But with the Spyderco Military. The plain satin S30V black G10 was my first locking folding knife. I've bought many blades after that, but the only knife that kicked my Millie out of my (right back) pocket was another Millie. Currently the C/F M390 is my favorite.

i guess if the omega springs were that big of a problem benchmade wouldn't have released the knife.

Tightened the pivot on my Griptilian last night and am carrying it again. It's new, no problems with the omega springs yet. There's still a little side to side blade play, but not enough to really bother me anymore. We'll see how the omega springs hold up. I doubt I'll ever like it as much as my Cold Steel Recon 1 or AK-47, but I do like it.

EDIT: It's gotten loose again, just from some opening and closing. Frustrating. I really don't want to buy an adhesive solution. Considering calling Benchmade about it.

Such a thinking question......I'd have to say my KA-BAR, SOG Seal Pup, or my Gerber LMF Infantry. For fixed blades that is. For a pocket knife Id have to say my SogZilla.

I would have to say the three Case knives that I bought for me and my two brothers. It is the same knife our Dad carried. When I found it was still in production I almost fainted, lol, before I ordered three. Item # 00163. Amber Trapper.

Not sure I could choose between Sebenza and Mnandi. But to add something different to this thread, I'll go with the one that completes the three way tie for me: Laconico Slim EDC.
