What is your beach knife?

I never figured a Beach Knife catagory. Odd, it seems. Like Tactical.
In any case, I carry my CS Voyager Tanto every where.

Got the Spydies Salt1 but the clip sucks, assume Pacific Salt clip is better, also like the D'fly since it got a nice wire clip.

It was like my first thin pocket knife with a really cool locking mechanism button, which you can press then flick the blade open manually. Really slick back.

I lost it awhile ago, but I found it with my tools recently. The blade steel is still a mystery to me and takes work, a lot, to get just bit of sharpness. It most definitely is water proof though!

Still cool little knife.

I prefer my Salt 1 over my Pacific Salt just because it's smaller and lighter in a pair of trunks. Of course by that logic I guess the D'fly would be even better.

I was also in Brazil for 3 months this winter (their summer) and the Salt was really the only knife I could carry there. All the super steels started rusting very quickly and had to be left in the room.

Not to change the subject. But who's the chick in the background? Nice knife BTW.

^agree

Also, anyone know the laws in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico? I need a beach/fishing knife to take there since we'll be going a lot (timeshare)

I go to the beach a few times a week seeing as I live on the coast. I carry a Spyderco Salt I with yellow handles on those days. It's the entire reason I bought that knife.

Are we looking at the knife or the background?

I'm all over salt water... clam digging, fishing, just plain bein'-around-ocean stuff.

I'm old school AUS-8, VG-10, 1095-ish kinda guy. Never had an issue.

You don't require any super duper rust resistant H-1 stuff in your firearms do you? Me neither.

Keep your stuff clean. It'll last you a lifetime that way.

H1 is a knife not a gun silly. You don't need to keep it clean. That is the point. Have you not heard of Surfingringo? :D
