What is your "dress up" knife?

There are some others, but most times it would be one of these...

...plus one of these.

Man going back through here there are some AWESOME choices!

Since checking in last I was able to find one of my grails - CF Walker. It has become my dress up knife. Though looking back looks like I need a rotation of dressy knives :-)

When I do dress up (not often).... I like to go clipless, so I always grab a Solo.

I'm apparently incapable of posting pictures but, along with a snakewood inlay small Seb 21, I like to carry a G-10 Manbug for dress carry.

For a night on the town my current Spyderco choices are:

Dragonfly G10
Chaparral CF
Sage 1, 2, or 3

And I always have a Manbug ZDP deep in one of my pockets.

Whoa, excellent choices! I especially love the customized Stretch family... if I could only have one knife, it'd probably be the Stretch.

Agreed on the Stretch, it would probably be my one folder as well. Deacon those are beautiful! That fella does some nice work! Might have to send a couple of mine away... :D

I know this is a Spyderco thread and discussion so I apologise , but for me it is my fathers knife I inherited a few years ago when he passed away .
He got it when he was 21 and he died aged 82 , he called it his " Hatched , Matched and Dispatched " knife .
He only carried it on special occasions and I have no idea how many christenings , weddings and funerals it been to .
If I have somewhere special to go to , then I'm sorry but my Spyderco's stay home and this gets buttoned into a special pocket I have in my jacket so it won't ever get lost .

My favorite pocket clip of all time is the one that came on the Calypso sprint run. It's solid and securely clips the knife, but doesn't make it difficult to clip the knife to your pocket or remove it. It's also gorgeous with that brown accent on the logo.

I still love the wire clip, though. Deep carry, but still somehow easy to retrieve the knife. It's also very subtle and doesn't attract the attention of overzealous LEOs or easily frightened sheeple. My favorite thing about the wire clip is that it makes it very easy to carry the knife in a wide variety of pockets. What's not to like about it?

I agree. Big fan of the wire clip here.
