I know it's hard to choose one, but please try, and no one will be upset if you change your mind later. :) I'm wondering if there is one that is most popular.

The stockman has my vote because it has 3 different blade styles. Otherwise I'd go nice and simple with a sodbuster.

Hard for me to say, but as a general rule 3 bladed whittlers with true split/tapered back springs. Since I have more of those than any other style, including Dr knifes.

Oh, I guess I kinda like the stockman (or cattle knife).

I seem to carry a single locking blade more than any other kind, but I collect equal end cattle/stock knives and jacks, as well as carrying them a good bit of the time, too.

Slimline Trapper, Utility, whatever all these different brands call them

The jack knife pattern for me. I just never felt the need for that third blade.

I'd have to say for a user it would be the stockman. For looks I may have to go with the Seahorse Whittler.
But wait, I use my Mini Copperhead more than um, no but...

I've pretty much settled on three patterns, but I think my favorite is the teardrop easy open jack. (Doglegs and Barlows are a close second and third...)

I love the canoe pattern. I really like the no nonsense two blades, one big, one small. I like the shape and feel of it. It just disappears in the pocket. Right behind the canoe would be the Barlow for me. I really like two bladed patterns just because I think that's all you really need.

I loves me a two-blade easy open jack. It's old timey, humble, and hard workin'.

As an edc I like the Case Peanut, light, sharp, and pocket friendly. For a hard working bigger knife I favor the Stockman.-Jim

Well I'm a huge fan of the swayback myself. I like the aesthetics of a single blade, but find a swayback jack to be more useful having the pen blade as well.

My favorite pattern has changed over time but ATM it's hands down the swayback jack.
