What is your favorite traditional pattern?

I have a hard time deciding, which is probably one of the reasons I pack around at least three knives at a time. My stockman gets the most use, though.

I enjoy variety most of all, but if I had to pick one pattern, it would probably be the split/tapered backspring Wharncliffe whittler, preferably with pen and coping blades. The Norfolk would be my second choice.

It's an easy choice for me: wharnie swatback jack, based on aesthetic considerations alone. Next come the norfolk and the 2-bladed congress, which also have that swayback handle that I like.

I gotta say that, after having read this thread from start to finish today, I just don't have a favorite pattern. I pretty much like ALL knives and that is evident by the number of knives I have in various patterns. Now, I have some favorite knives but that isn't based on patterns - more like handle material, blade shape, etc..

Today? This:

The red one is not so shiny since an encounter with the scotchbrite - looking better for it though :)
