What is your favorite traditional pattern?

A 3 3/8" Case 62009 1/2 Barlow with a clip master blade and a pen blade.

A little generic, but two blade Jacks (both blades on the same end) are my favorites.

Thanks for the replies, keep 'em coming, because I'm learning about patterns that I've not heard of before.

Those are great knives Stu. I was going to show a picture of one of mine but the OP (dogstar) only asked for us to show one knife so I only showed the Barlow and not a 2-blade Jack too.

Nah, post as many photos as you want!

Well, in that case "dogstar" here you go.

This is a knife like FLmon (Stu) was talking about. It is a Case 6292 Jack Knife sometimes called a "Texas Jack". It is 4" long. One cool thing (to me anyway) is that this particular knife's scale on the shield side is brown while the scale on the backside of the knife is black.

This pattern is my second favorite pattern and my third favorite pattern is the Stockman/Cattle Knife.

I might as well get it over with dogstar.

Here is one of my Stockman knives. Actually it is a Reverse Gunstock Stockman. This one is from Schatt & Morgan and is 4 1/4" long.

Well, I like them all, but I keep finding stockmans in my pocket. So there you are.

No one favors peanuts... interesting.

Oh, I know there's at least one guy around here in particular who does...:p:D;)

While I love (and mostly carry) peanuts and other small to medium jacks and pens, I have to say that my all-time favorite pattern is the single bladed slimline trapper. I don't know, there's just something about it.

A trapper in the style of the GEC Scout followed by a Sodbust Jr

fixed blades I like kepharts style followed by a nice butchers knife
