What is your first new knife for 2014?

No new knives yet, but I did great myself to a paper wheel setup for sharpening, and it is fantastic.


I'd like to get one of those GEC Radio knives though...
 
Spyderco Stretch in ZDP-189. Can't wait for it to get here!
 
Mine will be a Bradley alias 1 full ti plain edge 1st production run picked it up on the exchange
 
Field Grade Bodega, first run with the fluted blade. Should arrive tomorrow!!
 
I bought a Spydie Domino today. The physical size is pretty close to a Grayman DUA, which is a grip-size which fits my large hands very well.
Not sure I'll like it in a flipper, but we'll see. I had a Brad Southard, and didn't like that folder due to grip size. I need/like a "higher" grip which seems to come with a leaf-shaped blade.
 
I haven't got a knife this year but my last knife was a Benchmade Griptilian in D2 from Cabelas
 
A set of throwing knives, have two makers in mind but have to do more research before deciding.
 
Camillus pristine, it caught my eye in Wally world and felt and looked right. Thoroughly impressed, never thought highly of camillus, but I'll be giving them a chance.
 
I am going to try to get my hands on a Spyderco Gayle Bradley. Every picture I've seen shows that I need one of those in my life.
 
I've been tracking my new Spyderco etched Spin and Manix 2 and it seems they're neck and neck closing in on my PO box. So it seems I'll have 2 (more) on the 2nd day of 2014. :)

I got some SOG throwing knives from Walmart for Christmas. My first set. Been practicing in the garage (its cold here) and getting decent. I can't wait to get better to where I can justify a nicer set.

I'm pretty stoked about the Heiho, despite the reception given to CRKT by some I've always really like there knives and this one looks very nice! I'm glad to hear that people with more experience with it than I do give its the thumbs up.
 
I'm also going to pick up a Heiho. Won both of my fantasy football leagues so I've got a little dough to burn. I think I'm also going to grab a Squeak or UKPK or Tern for work. Could use a one handed slip joint.
 
SOG Vulcan Mini...never owned a SOG before so wish me luck! It should be here sometime next week but in the meantime I took the liberty of requesting a black clip from SOG. I love the satin blade but I much prefer the lower profile clip.
