  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What is your first new knife for 2014?

My first new used knife of 2014. Benchmade Triage. A family member out in AZ gave it to me and it feels great in hand.
Arrived about a 1/2 hour ago and just before the big snow storm.

My father gave me some money for Xmas...being the son of a knife collector it was obvious what the money was going towards:
Zero Tolerance 560BW
I cannot put this knife down, really fun to play with and a lot lighter than my ZT200/ZT300 for an EDC...its now made a home in my pocket :-)

Just scored an "antique" knife of some sort off of a certain well know auction site. 11" total blade shape looks like a cleaver but it's only supposedly 2 1/2" wide. Probably 6" blade. Carbon steel. Looks like an old hickory but I've never seen that pattern and it's not marked. Can't figure out how to post a pic from the site. Only paid 9.99.....plus 12 bucks shipping:rolleyes:! Should be here today or tomorrow! I'm stoked!

I just pulled the trigger on a Spyderco Equilibrium. I always liked the Balance but this looks more user friendly.

I am waiting for my Protech TR3 Integrity, and spyderco Ti Military to come in. Hopefully they are everything that I wanted.

Blue-handled black-washed Skyline. Made it three days into the new year before buying another knife. :P

Just purchased it today--a 2008 GEC #23 buffalo horn "double linerlock" pioneer trapper. All I seem to be buying these days are traditionals and fixed blades. My last two purchases of 2013 were a Becker BK17 and a BK7.

Not a knife but just place an order for a JK custom spike hawk. Can't wait to put it to use.

I'm going cheap in '14. I have the following on the way: SRM 763, SRM 6026, and Ganzo 712.
