I'm liking that Terzoula design a lot! Where can I get me one of those?

It's the discontinued rerelease version of the Starmate, the original was hollow ground so you probably can't do this to it but it cut very well. The rerelease was saber ground and to me was more of just a shank, it was a horrible slicer before removing all that steel. But I picked this one up off the exchange, they have a few left here and there I think. User Ndocyk did the regrinds, he is phenomenal and a great guy.

I just picked up a Benchmade 319 Proper. Wickedly sharp, but a poorly done sharpening grind (uneven bevel on the right side). That's easily corrected.

Just having a slipjoint - again for the first time in maybe 25 years? - had reminded me of simpler times. Using two hands to open a knife... there is a purposeful motion to it that is satisfying. Makes me remember the whittling knives I had as a youngster, or borrowing my granddads knife. The "snick" "...CLACK" of the blade snapping open on a slipjoint is one of those perfect sounds that brings back memories. It's now like an old friend, and I've only had it a few days.

The slipjoint slope is a slippery one, indeed.

What about; pinch the blade and use centrifugal force to open it, for street cred.
