What kind of folder do you carry?

I've been carrying the one that looks like it's been used a time or two and I just got the one on top in today. There will be a changing of the guard, so to speak, this jack is SWEET!

Oil Sucker wood that smells like it's been soaked in gasoline and a wrench shield - I dig it.

My typically daily knife pairing is an EDC-2 with Ulti Clip and a folder which changes often. Typically a CRK, Hinderer, Demko, Strider, Koenig or a Spyderco with an exotic steel.

Wish I could get another EDC-2 to have a backup though!

Weird Wednesday with a Fox Knives FX-301 aX-Dobolock, these were designed by Pi Knives (Sami Stinner) and produced by Fox Knives Military Division...really neat mechanism with rock solid lockup😎

Picked up a new one. Been wanting to try a new Benchmade Adamas since they moved to a Cruwear blade at ~64 Rc (my old fullsized Adamas is D2). Finally took the plunge when Knife Center blew out their remaining stock of 2021 SHOT show limited edition minis for $50 off, at $175 shipped last week! Black and maroon canvas micarta too!!! 😎

Didn't know they even had a mini.

Throwback Thursday with a Makinox "Automatique Ejectable" single action OTF, this is definitely the earliest piece I've seen with a retractable charging handle like a Vallotton Viper or Microtech HALO...very cool piece of history for the collection 😁

Wharncliffe delica blade on a sak? What am I looking at here?
It's from Triangle Tools in Ukraine. This is a reblade. These are one offs, and as best as I can tell are not mass produced.

Fit and finish is OK; not as good as some of my other custom SAKs (SpikeDiesel is the man), but it is an interesting tool. There are guys dropping spydie blades into SAKs, of course.

Very much doubt it is licensed, but that didn't occur to me when I bought it. I suppose it should have...

Snagged one of those 'Coal Oils' as well. I tend to prefer larger jacks, and this one ticks the boxes.
