Yes it is a fine knife, and smoothness is on par with my LG MK3 w/Phospher bronze washers.I love the 0640, not least because it reminds me of the original Emerson Specwar A, one of the first quality knives I owned.
BUT, it also really frustrates me because I think it would have been perfect if they'd just added a wave.
