What kind of folder do you carry?

I've been without a Shiro for awhile. Decided to rectify that. My knife funds are limited these days so it took a little creativity and selling off some other hardware. When I sold my motorcycle I decided to get a couple knives I've been waiting for (ahem... finally a CRK in Magnacut) but really wanted a nice flipper again, too.

This emerald green micarta just speaks to me!

I have a 25 year strained relationship with Sebenza's & CRK folders in general, going all the way back to my first one in BG42. I even bought one new in early 2002 that was dated 9-11-2001, one of my few regrets selling.

Happy to say that I have had a Sebenza of some sort in my possession for 25 years, like my Subaru I can adapt to their quirks :D

I almost went with the same clip as you got, it looks awesome! I went with what I thought would match my Ti scales from the build I did for it.

Sorry I didn’t see this earlier. I bet you’re going to love Josh’s 940 Sheepsfoot Reblade. I almost went for one too, but I managed to restrain myself. I caved for the latest Shaman Sheepsfoot Reblade though. 😁

That's the one I'm referring to above and my only Military with carbon fiber and frame lock. I think it's the Knifeworks exclusive. Great knife.


(And I'm guessing here, but you're probably not older than I am. That said, I don't save my old stools.)

All good my friend. It shipped today so I should have it in my grubby paws soon 😃.

I almost pulled the trigger on the Shaman upgrade. Had it in my cart for a while and waited too long 🤦‍♂️ . That woulda been a sweet one. Congrats there!

Thanks! The carbon fiber and S90V is Spyderco’s signature sprint, as it is one of Sal’s favorite combos.

I have quite a few of their models over the years in the same combo. Ti frame lock Millie, PM2, Native Chief are a few of my favorites. But the Shaman and recent Yojumbo are tops!
