What kind of folder do you carry?

I like the blade shape, size, and ergos. It was $450 so Iā€™ll have no reservations about using it at work. I really love a Sebenza or Hinderer in that role but I think the Quantium action and feel will be superior.

I watched a few videos focused on that sticky action you mention. As long as I keep my ring finger on the pocket clip, she just flies open. Shiro smooth and clean ! šŸ„°

Iā€™m sure you wonā€™t have any issues. The action was great for me, and a heck of a price 2nd hand. My only issue with it (and most exposed lockbars) is I have a tendency to white knuckle my knives and I put a lot of tension on the lockbar. Due to the shape of the Quantum flipper, when I am white knuckling and my index finger slides across the pointy flipper, frickin hurts like hell lol ā˜ļø šŸ’„ šŸ¤Æ.

Iā€™ve seen videos where people will do it and hear them say AHHH, lmao.

It is a sweet knife though, I enjoyed mine other than ā€œstubbingā€ my finger.

Yes sir, as Uā€™ve been fondling it for a while, this all makes sense. Once I get a feel for it, I think itā€™ll make a fine work knife.

Weā€™ve all read the stories about Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist ā€˜s Shiro (that seems to get misplaced often šŸ˜›šŸ˜šŸ¤£) and I find myself wondering which model it is. I also wonder how much of an influence it will have on the CPK Folder. Very exciting stuff !!!

Same. I was partial to the Inkosi drop point over my Zaan tanto, but I just picked up a Zaan MC drop point and Iā€™m back on the fence.

I feel like the newer ones have a rougher, grippier feel to them. But it may just be that my others are worn in and I just donā€™t remember them being that way.
