What kind of folder do you carry?

Anyone else think the busse folder is just a little......I don't know.....underwhelming? For close to the same price I can think of several proven folders that use a "better" blade steel than AEB-L and that seem to have more "finishing" done.
I am underwhelmed by the folder as well. After 30 years, this is not what I expected to see.
Definitely not what I expected for their first folder out of the gate, that is for sure. Closest thing to it IMO is the Benchmade Anthem, which was/is a similar price and a similar size.

If the GT35 turns out to be a disappointment for any reason (which I doubt), I'm sure they will hold their value on the secondary well enough that early adopters won't lose much, if any money. I see it as a pretty low risk opportunity and I think there's a good chance people will be pleasantly surprised.

Agree. It's integral, and pretty much the (blade) size and thickness of the last BF forum knife. And AEB-L is close to 14C28N or 12c27, which I have (only) in some of my trads, and they perform well for what they were made.

Like a traditional in a modern frame and with a lock similar or better in strength than the Shark lock (which it resembles). I feel it's unique and refreshing - I have so many overbuilt folders already ....

I suspect future versions will improve the choil area (which is there currently for the lock). Reg. the price, they had to build a new Ti tool line and put > 5 years R&D in it (see the patents). Not saying this as a Busse fanboy, but the same hill is in front of CPK, too, if - as I hope - we will see a folder from Nathan at some point.

PS: it is a little on the ugly side ... But some of you DEK3 fans will sympathize :)

Yeah, but I'd pay $600 or $700 for a CPK folder using D3V versus AEB-L. Plus, you know the ergos on the cpk will be way better than the busse.

^^^This^^^

I’m not a Busse customer and do not want to pile on the hate. Their customer base seemed happy with the prototype and that’s great for them.

At first glance, the folder looked more like a piece of bent tin rather than milled titanium. Not my jam, especially for the coin they’re asking…maybe they will refine the next iteration.

1) Don't know about that for myself. Nathan's AEB-L rocks, I wish he'd do some more knives in it (have Kephart, Dek1, and UF1).
2) Also that, I don't know for either knife. At this point, Nathan's folder is dreamware. And the Busse one "2 weeks" :)

Some of you guys easily spend north of $600 for a Russian something. At least the Busse folder is made in Ohio. If I don't like it enough, I'll sell it.

Anyways, can't argue with how you would spend your money.

Anyways, back on subject, pics of folders that we carry. That guy is the same blade length and thickness as the Busse folder ....

Is it pretty and/or ergonomic ? Not sure.

Don't knock bent tin till you've tried it😉 And technically the Pocket Bushman has more hand filling contour😂 Oh well, I still ordered one🤷‍♂️😂
