  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What kind of folder do you carry?

Chip. Is that a mantis?

:p
I plead the 5th, I can say I got it for less than a plain steel version so at least there's that:)

It's pretty dang neat, did have to mess with it though;) The detent was crazy stiff and I don't exactly have weak thumbs, fortunately I was able to drop the lockbar out without disassembly of the pivot...little tweak and it's all good:cool:

I like the Skinny Slicer, it and the Gen 6 XM's are much better flippers than the 5 or 6 XM's that I've had before. (There is no having to mess with the pivot screw to try and get the blade centered all of the time) and these came almost sharp from the factory. (By no means Carothers sharp BTW).
They are still no match for a Spyderco Para 3 for a simple wicked sharp from the factory great slicing super steeled less expensive work knife for a tradesman like me. Plumbing, Heating AC Contractor.
