Love how the scales look. Is that from normal pocket carry or ...?
Thank ya. Yea it’s just normal wear and tear. I work with my CRKs everyday so they see all kinds of environments. They’ll end up on concrete, brick, dirt, ditches, floors, steel beams, wood rafters, greasy equipment, anything you can think of. They’ll get picked up with a handful of tools, dropped, kicked. They don’t really get babied. I love a good worn looking Crk thoLove how the scales look. Is that from normal pocket carry or ...?

Fully agree. Love seeing well used/worn/loved knives. Adds so much character in my opinion. I completely understand the collecting part and safe queens but it’s just not for me. I get the most enjoyment from using and carrying them. I do have a couple wood/Damascus CRKs that only get casual carry and don’t get taken to work. I don’t abuse any of mine but I don’t cut them much slack. There’s an appeal to me with CRKs, kinda hard to explain but they’re like a $400 beater just built for work.I'm right there with you. I see so many CRKs that are basically pristine and they look like they never, or almost never, get used. I know everyone is different and it's all good either way, but I really appreciate a good, well loved and used knife.
I can't tell whether your's is a large or small (though I am guessing large), but I have a small Insingo that I use the hell out of and I love it. I had "One life, live it!" engraved on the back of it. It's a knife I will be happy to have for the rest of my life.![]()
