Tilley hat.
Wouldn't have minded different makers however Tilley was the only one I could find in XXXXXL.

Had some great hats gloves and boots in the army. One can buy the same equipment from military retailers, just not in those sizes for some reason.

Fishpond mesh back trucker style. I wear one hat and wear it till it's dead. But boy do they get comfy when worn a lot. Also have 2 pcs, one digi cam, the other a winter with flaps in woodland.

So, I'm usually a baseball cap kinda guy. Last summer I bought a Tilley and freaking love it. Now I found this at an old backwoods antique joint and threw the old fella five bucks for it and an old 1930's Gillette Tech. I think it's what y'all call a fedora. And it's obviously made by, or for, Sears. If any of you more knowledgeable gents can fill me in on any other info I'd greatly appreciate it.

Usually I don’t wear hats unless it’s winter. When I was younger I would wear a baseball cap sometimes, almost always backwards. (Don’t want to cover my ugly face, how else will I scare children)

In the winter I just wear my Canada Goose toque. (I was born in Montreal after all) 100% Merino wool, so it is warm. (It was -22 degrees celcius here last night, not including wind chill. -7.6 Farenheit for all you yanks)

And yet this is the only hat I should be wearing.

When I was a kid my grandmother made me a Ninja Turtles kippah for synagog. Wish I still had it.

I reupload the pic in my OP using a different host, and will post another picture of how that new hat looks over a year and a half later of daily wearing, as well as post a picture of another hat I wear out back sometimes when I'm shooting my airguns.

No hats on our outfit:

Mine by KJ Murphy's Custom Hatters, the wife's by Mackey Custom Hats.

The wife (on the right on the red roan horse) and our good friend Janine coming out from the first run at a ranch roping. Janine's hat is also from KJ Murphy's.

Here's the other hat which I wear when I'm out back shooting my airguns.

It's a plainsman by San Zeno leather works here in California ( don't think they're around anymore )
My dad bought it new in 1979 and only wore it once to stick it in a hat case in the top of his closest till last year.
We we're digging stuff out to have a a yardsale, and he gave this hat to me because it's a small and only worth what he payed.

It's really an awesome hat, but has some weight to it as it's literally just 3 big chunks of suede leather sewn together.

I like the plain old flatcap... both in summer and in winter as well. I have several of them.

An knitted hats when the winds are blowing over bavarian hillsides
