I would like to get (Santa, pay attention!) an Osprey Knife and Tool Warthog or one of it cousins by WA Surles or Fiddleback pocket Kephart in Osage orange or Orange burlap micarta. I gave a friend from church a DP small hunter in 1095 so he could have a type of patch knife, not really Christmas but the idea of giving someone something needed made me think of it, just a little early.

So this maybe a tangent, if you cannot get one you want, what one would you like to give someone else?

My son is getting a set of Victorinox Kitchen knives as his cooking is getting rather good, well for a student it is. Biggest cost is the ingredients he wants when he gets home from uni as he can use mother's shopping power!
Victorinox because they just work. Anything more exotic will have to wait until he has his own disposable income from a job...

Needs his own knives to stop taking ours. He also had a Skrama in the kitchen the other day to portion up some chicken, and then there was the Skate (type of fish)!!! Probably require his own sharpening system too as I'm doing it all too often.

getting a zt 0450 and zt 0808 on monday and a para 3 from santa :)
then i get deep carry clips and titanium standoffs from santa in my stocking :)

I'd love a GEC Gepetto Whittler but with it getting rarer and rarer probably not going to happen.
Can't swing much on my own.

Don't think I'll get a blade this year since I've been wanting a KME sharpener for a little while now, I told the wife no knife this year and sharpener only.

That way I can get the knife myself without her knowing and I can get the one I really want lol. Now I just have to choose :D

Give? None. I have no friends who are interested in knives, my dad believes carrying a pocket knife is a good idea, but is happy with the Case he's had for years, my stepmom got the only knife she was interested in last year(an SAK with a magnifying glass), and the rest of my family doesn't have any interest in knives at all.

Receive, well, I have dozens of knives on my Amazon wishlist, so I will presumably get something from there, but no idea which one(s). Since my family would rather get me several $40-60 knives rather than 1 $200 knife(and since my friends are on tight budgets), this means likely possibilities are some combination of Condor stuff, Ontario SP or Old Hickory stuff, Ka-bars, Rough Rider traditionals, Cold Steel, or Kershaw.

Decided to give m'self a Spyderco Phil Wilson South Fork fixed-blade for Christmas, for I have mostly been a good boy this year. Mostly. :D

I'm getting an Spyderco Fish Hunter and Jumpmaster 2, having waiting for those since they were announced.
I'll probably be giving away some SAKs, Multitools and gifting inexpensive folders ($30 approx) just to thin down the collection

I want a Medford Marauder.... unfortunately I don't think anyone will drop $700 on me this Christmas Lol.

I´m going to get Victorinox knife, model is big secret I don´t have any so i´m waiting for it very much.
And mother is going to give me gift card(400€) to local blade store. I have been looking some fixed from Spartan Blades, and beside that some cheaper folding. Me and my girldfriend are going to switch Spydergos, not sure about model´s yet. My Brother and father is going to get puukko from me, maybe some Martini gift puukko to both of them.
Can someone recommend any fixed Spartan blade to me?

None.

My wife and are at a stage in life that if we want something we can just get it. We're also about as sick of the American way of Christmas consumerism as you can get. We limit ourselves to $25 gifts for each other and then gift to favorite charities. A couple of years ago I gave my wife a Victorinox Waiter so she needs no other knife. My kids have known for sometime that if they give me something it must be consumable or a durable item IF handmade by them --- I've recently received alligator, boar, kangaroo, bison meat, etc. from one daughter; artwork from my artist daughter; and cured bamboo and cured maple hiking sticks and a carved spoon from my son. This year is an exception. The three kids (adults) went in on a henley wool sweater for me that I wouldn't buy for myself. I know because I had to try it one and return it for an exchange.

Giving out some opinel that won't scare the majority of people. I hope my family could get me a ZT566CF or a Cabela's 940, but i never receive gift from them after i'm 12, so i guess i might be overthinking

I ordered a GEC Beer Scout for my Christmas present. USPS tracking says it'll be here tomorrow. Since it's over a month till Christmas, that gives me plenty of time to get myself another present.
