What knife can you get away with carring at work?

I've worked at the same small company for the past 15 years. I run the production and warehouse. For the past while I've been using a Buck Vantage as my utility knife, but I've carried all sorts of stuff over the years. There happens to be an old Ontario beaver tail machete sitting on my desk as we speak, just because. I could honestly walk around with a katana on my back and nobody would say a word.
I also have a habit of bringing in guns and working on them during my lunch hour.

I can carry anything I want at work, most days it's a Spyderco Endura. Sometimes a Military. I cut tons of stuff on the job so a sharp knife is essential.

i've got a pretty liberal work environment, but i find no matter where I go i get away with my Dosier Ka-bar folder with the pink handles (for breast cancer) ...even got me out of handcuffs one night (long story)

I own my own company so I carry whatever I damn want.:D

Usually it's a Leatherman Charge, a Benchmade Mini-Grip and a Bark River Bravo Necker.

Depends on the job. Nursing job= No knife though I carry a leatherman in my backpack, Army Reserves= anything I want including autos, fire/ems= anything that folds, I keep a byrd rescue knife in my turnout gear and a gerber tool that my mom gave me about 2 decades ago when I started in EMS.

I can pretty much carry any knife I want. Lots of my co-workers scoff at my Military with comments like, "Whoa Rambo, what are you gonna do with that?". To which I reply "Well, cut this here apple, smart ass."

I work for a Fortune 500 Engineering Company. Used have a 3" limit, then a couple of guys out in the shop had a knife fight. Now it's
Maximum blade length of 2" with a maximum opened length of 4.5"
. Bummer.

I can carry pretty much anything I want as long as it's not worn openly (no belt sheath, pocket clip with high-riding handle, etc) but, discretion being the better part of valor, I stick with a smallish slipjoint.

I work in a corporate office. AFAIK there is no knife policy, although I wouldn't be surprised if there is a no "weapons" policy. I carry whatever I want, although lately I've taken to wearing them deep in pocket rather than clipped on. It's probably best if I keep the blades smallish and the styling less "tactical." To date I haven't worried about it. But I also don't want to be stupid. Sometimes I play with my knife at my desk while I read stuff. Perhaps I should check that.

I work at a plant nursery so I can carry pretty much anything short of a chopper, that might get some looks. Its a great environment to put steels through their paces.only thing I like about my job is some days my blades spend more time out of pocket/unsheathed then they due stowed away. Taken in oct.

I am not "suppose" to carry anything with a cutting edge. However the Boss carries a dragonfly, and lets me get away with my sak alox and sometimes my mini grip. Anything else I IWB and he doesn't exactly check ;)

Because of the line of work I was in I could carry anything and did, from an EK Model 5 to a Thomas Warren/Beretta Avenger, with everything between.

I was known as the guy with all the knives, people began bringin' their knives from home for me to sharpen.

I work from home, sooooooooo anything I want? I guess I could actually clip all of them to myself in some form or fashion and get away with it. :D Not that bored, so probably won't try. I did threaten my work laptop with my Blur today, but since no one was around to witness it, no complaints were filed.

IT office worker so i'm seen carrying round screwdrivers, my leatherman, and punchdown crimp tool.
knife wise sog flash1 & aegis tini ffg, spyderco ladybug & dragonfly have been welcomed. anything tanto forget about it. also i scared someone once with the snap of my spyderco persistence so i'm a little more careful how i open my knives around coworkers

I carry 2 knives a work: Kershaw Blur & SOG Flash I

The SOG gets used the most for opening mail and small parcels, but I often use the Blur when the cutting job need more blade than the SOG has to offer. My receptionist thinks I'm nuts for carrying 2 knives but loves that I gave her an old Gerber Fast Mini for around the office. I always comment when I hear it snap open...

Usually three, though I'll generally only use a SAK Camper. My big boss always has one in his pocket. The SAK takes care of any cutting I want to do and keeps the drama at a minimum.

Biggest knife to date: Ontario Tac-1, in my pocket.

Recently its been a Fiddleback Forge Terassuar, awesome knife that carries well in my Carhartts front pockets.
