What knife company is the most ruinous to your wallet?

I'm generally not brand loyal, but Spyderco always has my attention, especially since I don't like big chunky overbuilt tactifool knives. They are the only company I own more than one knife from.

CRK, Les George, Three Sisters Forge, Kirby Lambert, Greg Lightfoot.....

the problem is WHICH awesome knife company. Spartan Blades at the moment but there are about 10 Bark Rivers and 3 Spartan Blades on deck.

Ouch! I just got grammar-slammed. As an English language nerd, I am particularly ashamed.

Spartan Blades really has me curious about their Pallas flipper. The value, construction, and materials are all pretty fantastic. Also, I haven't seen a button lock flipper outside of the Tighe customs and collabs I've handled.

Opinel. Seriously. I find myself buying them like other people buy cigarettes.

Spyderco, cuz I live 200 yds away. Bad idea to have your crack dealer as a neighbor....or is it?

It's a toss up between Benchmade and Spyderco. Although Bark River is starting to hurt my wallet as well.

Emerson for a while. Lately it's been cold steel cause I've been getting into carrying fixed blades more and they make decently priced fixed blades in case I don't like it.

Spyderco.
When I see a much-anticipated model up on BHQ's New Arrivals, it's like a reflex, I don't even hesitate.
If I regret it later, I can always sell it.

Spyderco, CRK and Cold Steel. I would be more than happy to buy from only those 3 companies for the rest if my life

Himalayan Imports.
Too many styles, sizes and weights to have just one or two.
They're why I came here and stay here.

Spent almost $2k on Sanrenmu, Enlan and Taylor S&W. Figures that it's the cheap brands that ruin the wallet since they are so prone to bulk impulse purchases.

Initially, Benchmade (Discoed, mostly) . Spyderco had my interest for some time. Sold off most of both w/ few regrets.. kept a few AFCK's, 710, 810..couple of 73x's..Shoulda kept that Ti Millie...if it was in any other steel than S30V, I would have.., and S110V Native

Busse now has my full attention. (and by attention, I mean money)

I wasn't trying to grammar-slam. I was attempting to communicate that there were so many awesome knife companies to choose from. The use of caps was my effort to emphasize the word.

I can't wait to play with a Pallas flipper. I have their chop sticks on my xmas wish list. I think I convinced the wife we each need a pair. For now, its just the Akribus....
