What Knife Makes You Feel Safe?

I keep one of these under my pillow for emergencies... ;)

I wouldnt bring a knife to the door. Id just call out before opening it. Then again, my door has glass so I could see who it was anyways. I feel safe where I live so no worries. I am grateful for that=)

I don't carry anything for selfdefense because the best defense is to run or call out:)

Definetly my Emerson CQC 13. An immense knife, wicked, reliable and scary. A very lethal knife.
 
Probably a tops steel eagle or if they woke me up from a good dream, my heavily modified ar-15 or DSA SA58.
 
Well if I had to pick a knife It would either be my USMC Ka Bar or my Cold Steel Kukri machete since those would be the biggest knives I have.

LOL, she can be pretty dangerous when she's hyper. After being gone for a day or two on the weekend we (my fiance and I) come home to an excited cat who's been lonely so we have to pay the price for leaving her home alone :D

When she gets like that she runs around the apartment and ruins the blinds and its like playing cat and mouse with her as the mouse :p

So if an intruder tried to come in when we were gone, he'd have to deal with her :eek:
 
I would go out the back door to sneak around the front to see who it was, have a flashlight and a knife at the ready, probably a CRKT ringed razel or something of the sort.

So in a country where youre mostly able to own and carry weapons, in a country where "an armed society is a polite society" this is the way ya'll feel inside your homes?

I am totaly secure in my home, However I think the main idea of this thread is what do you bring to the door in the middle of the night when a stranger comes knocking. Lets face it no matter where you are on the globe there are some very very bad people walking the streets.
