What knife patterns (blade combinations) would you like to see

I would love to see a Cattleman (I think). It is much like the stockman pattern, except it substitutes a spear point blade for the main clip.

Kamagong;

a cattleman has a clip or spear as main blade, a spey and a leather punch. It can be in a premium or even end (usual) or in almost any handle that works for the blade arrangement.

I would love to see some Moose patterns, large blade at each end. I really love the Moose.

Thanks for the info AG. Okay then, I'd like to see more stockman models with a spearpoint blade. Carbon steel and natural handle materials of course.

I'm having trouble finding a Doctors Pattern knife with the configuration that I like: long spear-point blade, spatula, pill crusher, and with a nice vintage handle material perhaps a cracked ice celluloid or cattle horn.

AG,

It was great to say hello to you and Goldie in Coops room at blade.

I am not aware of any production of capped bolster DR knives except from 2 Custom makers (Rogers and Chamblin). Maybe that configuration is one to consider.

I've been scouring the net for a "Nessmuk trilogy" style folder with wood scales. A heavy 4" to 4-1/8" muskrat with 3" blades in the $40 range would do nicely. Happy to read you are looking at more wood, there is not much out there for current builds of mid-range quality.

I've really been digging the idea of a....

Single blade , carbon steel, Sheepsfoot or modified Wharncliffe , simple NS bolsters and a very 'nuggety' stag.
OA knife size would be around 4' closed.

I was happy to meet you and would have been more so if I had understood who you were, forgive me.

I am sorry, I do not understand the term "capped bolster". A. G.

I like reverse patterns, reverse peanut, gunstock, etc. Whancliffe whittlers are great too. Stockman with a Turkish clip. I really like a Barlow with a Sheepsfoot main blade. You see a lot of old Barlows like that but not newer ones.

A gunboat canoe in carbon steel with stag or bone scales would really make my day. Also a full size single blade trapper with a turkish clip blade.

Locking sodbuster. AFAIK, there are only two, an Eye Brand, and a Rough Rider. Opposite ends of the spectrum, both very good, too.

Spearpoints are so blah. will anything else do? How about a curved barlow with a turkish clip blade?
I would love a single blade barlow with a turkish clip. I would never have imagined anyone doing a barlow with a turkish clip blade. On the other hand, I would love to see a barlow with a leaf shape blade similar to your now discontinued Texas Ranger Toothpick.

Another vote for hawbaker "Rat". Even the ones (Case) on fleabay are snagging $100+ these days. Such a handy blade combo.
