What knife really made ya!

After lookin on Internet a 7" to 9" tough blade, seeing many maker´s works my eyes were down on the Busse Combat HOG FSH, it is a real Beast!!... Also liked the Busse Combat Team Gemini Light Brigade, so I bought 2, (a Desert Sage Finish / Black Canvas Micarta Handle and a Black Finish / Geen and Black Handle) really cool knives, very light weight...
I coudn´t upload pics, so once I can I´ll show you the knives...
Regards

SH-e with the original Lean Mean streets.

Basic 5 ordered off an ad in Blade Magazine in 1998. It looked perfect, and when it arrived, I had the rare experience of realizing that it actually WAS. Ergonomic, lightweight, indestructible, and the asym edge was a screaming razor. After owning about 65 different Busse models over the years, this one still gets carry time, perfect for day hikes on trail. Have accumulated several more B5's over the years--still love 'em...

I got a BATAC LE on trade, too short and heavy for me, so I sold it. First keeper was a War Dog, quickly followed by a 1311/MOAD. That 1311 is the best woodcutting tool I have ever used. Maybe someday I'll be able to afford a NMFFBM or even a MOAB!

That SFNO LE is one cooooool blade!
Then again so is NMSFNO!
Both of these, final answer.

The skeleton key got me hooked. I have two but want many more. Also the Paul's Hatchet and the AK47. Still looking for a PH! Damn Busse Hoarders!

I've been through a bunch- couple different BATACs including LE- three different SJTACs including 2 LEs which had grinding variations- couple different NMSFNOs including a LE- and a TGLB.
I'm down to three: 2- CABS, 2- choilless BJLE, and a new handshaped CG NMFSH. It's going to take something pretty amazing to make me let go of my BJLEs though, so I guess that's my all time favorite.

Either the Steel Hearts or the NMSFNO. Recently purchased a Skinny, still looking for the SF...Cheers.

Hell Razor from Skunk at the Company Store June '06. I'd never seen anything like it and I wondered "what's with the grooves and curves?".

I'm late to the party. The fantastic NMSFNO.

As soon as I laid eyes on it I knew that was my ideal camp/survival/bug-out blade...but, now the TGLB is sort of creeping into that territory due to the fact that it is lighter weight and chopping tasks became less of a priority once I added a SILKY Folding Saw to my B.O.B.

first busse knife i saw that made me a fan was the HOGASH followed by the HHFSH - all steelhearts are awesome!!!

after years of owning some old school steel heart IIs, badger attack, Mean street, and Battle mistress. I wanted to see what ever happened to that Busse knife company that made such good survival knives from long ago, and low and behold I see the ASH1 coming out.. was hooked from then on in the INFI addiction
