What knife would you carry if fighting in Ukraine?

SAK pioneer or cadet - are going to easily be the most useful

there isn't going to be any hand-to-hand in this war, as the invading force is either surrendering or being unfortunate casualties of drones & artillery
(I mean that truly, most of the young men sent there are also victims)

I'm no warrior, mind you, but I suppose I'd take my S35VN black-coated Endura. It's lightweight, simple, reliable, has a lot of blade, and S35VN has nicely balanced properties. It would withstand abuse and be easy to maintain.

Nothing fancy (get it?), but that's my answer.
While I love the Endura and Endela....the Delica 4 truly is the perfect knife. Its legal everywhere, lock works great, slices and cuts better than any locking folder iv ever used.

On topic : I'd bring my big RangerGrip SAK and 3V/DLC Warcraft Tanto .

But I'd have to be made 18yo again . Young , dumb and full of ... 🥷

I'd also recommend a mutlitool. I was going to say a Wave or a Surge, however Leatherman has a couple newer multitools that have a threaded hole where you can screw gun cleaning rod tips into like a wire brush, there's also a carbon scraping tool and a punch to tap out the disassembly rods in a M4. I can't recall the model names though, I just happened across them in a random post somewhere.

I'd take a large fixed blade with toughness and good corrosion resistance. But when I was in the military the can opener was the most valuable tool for me, had a Swiss army knife soldier I believe it was called (coincidence) but it also had a type of awal on it that was great for scraping carbon out of the muzzle tip and it was longer and thinner than the one I have on my current Swiss army and it also didn't come out the back spine where I use it as like a t-handle now
