Razorsharp and Brutal!!!

This knife is just made for destroying stuff! :D

This means that until i get out to my local hike n knifethrowing place

my furniture isnt safe hahaha

I'd like to get a small hatchet like a Wetterlings to replace my beater, also a machete to take care of some yard work.

I also really want a Case peanut slipjoint in some sort of neat handle material, but I think I'll suggest this one as a Christmas gift.

hey Austin,

if you want, I can sell you a #6 Opinel, my father brought me a few of these the other day when he visited me from France. I'm going to France in a couple weeks, so I can replenish the stock. PM if you want one.

DOC-CANADA, Thanks for the book recommendation. I appreciate it.

Man, the RAT-5 looks awesome. I hope my RD-4 looks as cool.
I was so torn with this last knife purchase. Knife seduction sucks in a lovley way.

lol

someone else on here said exactly letter by letter the same a while ago

lol. I guess it is a common enough reaction. Nice knife by the way. I think I might just have to put one of those RATs on my knives-to-buy list.

In honour of the good news it looks like I'll have to revise my list to add:

-a couple BK11s
-BK7
-BK1
-BK10

So, who has the best prices on the 7 and RTAK?

my call would be Cumberland - last I checked anyhow

they also carry the RC-3 p.s. thought DOC-CANADA got one of these lately, still waiting for his report (no pressure - well okay - a little pressure ;))

I did, kgd (see pictures in the RC-3 thread). My first impression is that the handle is a bit on the short side but it may grow on me. Tried a bit of wood cutting, seems ok, but haven't had a chance to get it out in the woods yet.

I should add that I got it from Cumberland Knives on the recommendation of a forum member and I wasn't disappointed. I dealt with Bill Horn who I gather is the owner and as well as I can tell from emails, seems like a real nice guy. He was there to answer different concerns that I had and got the knife shipped out tout de suite! (A concession to my Canuck heritage).
