I agree 100% with your take on Hinderer. HOWEVER, my 1982 two-tone yellow/white 318ci D-100 Dodge truck was incredible. And I’d still have it if some 50-ish Houston housewife hadn’t plowed into the rear end @ 50mph! (Apologies for the rant.)![]()
I have never understood the strider folders. forget about the maker. im just talking about the knives. over sized awkward handle and smallish blade with a clumsy placed start of the edge far from the handle. doesnt hold well doesnt cut well. looks silly. add in the ridiculous prices that make emersons look like a steal....... I just dont get the love for them.
How dare you attempt to denigrate the perfect knife design? Three inches of sharpened edge on a nine-inch long folding knife is literally the perfect design. Check yourself, sir.

Was she drunk?
irregardless
I originally had posted a gec rant but I would have been marched off the plank. Super hard to get, super expensive on the reselling market for what it is, and the examples I got had side to side wiggle and not too sharp. No one's gonna say Emerson? Or GEC?
How can anyone be critical of the chisel grind ,special tactical blade shape , that works like hydro-shock type ammo ?No one's gonna say Emerson? Or GEC?
This one wins, but Richmade is right there with him.Tracker. Dan.
I put GEC on page one.No one's gonna say Emerson? Or GEC?
Mother of pearl.
I just don't like the colour.
That weird multi coloured steel. Don't know what it's called. But it is kindvof pinkish.
My parents had the beer holders that clipped to a rolled down window (because you smoked back then, too).Back then they didn’t even bother to check. (IME, late 70’s-early 80’s in Houston, oil boom still ongoing, lots of cash, pretty much everyone had “had a few” at the local “Ice House” by 4pm.)
Can you give us 50% off your knives before you go?I only made it to 1:20 in the video you posted before I had a seizure and died. Thanks for that.
Laughed pretty hard at this....sharpened by somebody who wanted to make sure you're able to split atoms...
