What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I just got a knife from my favorite GEC dealer. It had a tube in it with Charlie's words of wisdom and a picture of a couple of old geezers who just can't seem to get that fence painted.

Oh, yeah, there was one of them Sepia Saw Cut bone TC Barlows in there with a snazzy button besides!

I got an email from a dealer saying that, then another from the same dealer saying they were only getting about 5.

but anyway, there really is a history to these glitter handles. Scientific American (iirc, it’s in my article) had an article on how to make glitter celluloid handles for your pocket knife.

Yikes, worse then I heard. Maybe they were talking about the Osage and Glitter combined. Either way they are all spoken for already.

Eric A. was gracious to give me a personal tour as I was the first one there when the doors opened, and helped me pick that one out. I also picked up some reclaimed chestnut barn floor Half-Moon Trappers. I thought the Barlow was garish but fun, and it might be a nice contrast to your more august personal collection.

That looks great Paul !!!! Just paid for mine !! This will be the very first 15 TC , other than the Blade Forums knife , that I will get as first owner . Is this only the Second 4 Pin 15 TC ???
