What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Here’s mine. I also did an unboxing video.

I really like it. The bone hit me better than I expected tbh. I was a bit concerned the tip would be closer to proud than I prefer, but it’s not at all. Aside from a small gap between the spring and pile side liner, it’s perfect.

I just got home from work and had a very unexpected invoice waiting for me! :D

I'm pretty excited for this one. I've been wanting a spearpoint TC barlow for a couple of years now and the covers on these just look beautiful!

I chatted with Bill today; all I can say is, don't write me off yet!!:D
I feel better already!!

That's great to hear sir! I was feeling very bittersweet about the upcoming osage and gold glitter release. This helps. :)

It seems like gaps are becoming the norm these days, at least in the last few runs.

When you have enjoyed a fair quantity and quality of life, and you gather enough scars from tripping over life's pitfalls, you win the privilege of, at least pretending, to be a philosopher.
And you try, if you still have some spirit, to ruminate on the things that make life just a little better for you and your tribe...

Charlie, did Schrade/Ulster use different Saw Cut Delrins over the decades?

My Number 10 Ulster dates from 1958/1959 to 1969, according to the tang stamp. It isn't an "Ulster Old Timer", so it's not/can't be part of the 1965 to 1971(?) ... 1972(?) Prince Albert tobacco promotion.
I think my Number 10 pre-dates that promotion, or could it be concurrent with?

Anyway, your Ulster Number 10 (second down, left hand column in your scan) definitely is either a bunch less carried/pocket worn, or the colors used were way different.
