I like it Paul!Here's a pic with the current TC darkened as per Barrett's method...a sharpie Barrett said it wears really well and it's safe to assume one could easily take back to factory if they wanted

That’s my plan. There’s a method I use to “rust blue” axes and gun barrels using peroxide, salt and distilled water. It deeply blackens high carbon steels but I’m not sure how it will work on these mild steel bolsters.Also, it'd be easy to patina those letters and then just buff the face of the bolsters back to bright...
