Gorgeous knife! I have not seen a single one from Charlie that I’d would not want to own.I couldn't find a single major flaw with this one, and I have a pretty good eye for detail. Some call it OCD.The color on mine is a little on the lighter side, but I actually prefer it that way.
Thank you Charlie and GEC!

Beautiful!

Well done!Yep! They’re good quality and made to be an affordable working knife, so I’d say very traditional in that respect.
I got one to practice scrimshaw on and was surprised how much I liked it. A solid knife, and I really like the radiused bolsters. Feels nice in the hand

Fine!! Live it up!!This is a nicely built Case...... The handles are a little garish for an aging gentleman such as myself..... But I refuse to be like Gramps....
So I'm going to put on my Hawaiian shirt and white shoes when I carry this knife..... Oh, and the mirror sunglasses too.....

The lightbox came in today.
I was stuck at work late tonight, so I just took some quick photos to make sure the setup was going to work (sorry there are so many, lol). I didn't really adjust the lighting or anything, so some of them are overexposed and whatnot... But all in all, I'm very impressed by the difference a cheap $40 lightbox, $20 tripod, some wallpaper, and MDF board can make. Now that I know the system more or less works (aside from user error and lack of skill), I'm going to put in an order for some higher end vinyl car interior wraps with some nice burls/grain. No more waiting for sunlight and nice weather to take pictures anymore! In Washington, it can be quite the wait sometimes, lol.
As far as what I think about the barlow... Holy smokes! I love it! Fit and finish is fantastic. Among the best of any of my GECs actually. Pins are well set. No gaps. Great grind. Phenomenal color. Just beautiful. I wasn't completely sure about the color when these were first announced and almost held off. I am so glad I didn't. The coloration is nice and warm and reminds me of simpler times.
You really outdid yourself on this one Charlie. Thank you!
