How about Plum Wood and C75 steel? I'm excited to see how this one ages! More and more dark colors have been coming out in the short time that I've owned it. :)
Here is my Plum Wood, one of my favs, it has started to darken considerably, (wish I had a before and after pic), carried it quite a bit but haven’t cut much that would start a patina on the blade.

Speaking of Micarta, here is a total jewel, the Expedition! Brass is beginning to patina well, really need to get this some more pocket time, just a great knife!

Still haven’t reached too far up the sleeve yet! ;) Have a good one!

You have deep sleeves, lol! I've got a few more, but I'll be out soon enough. :D

I agree with you on the pinning. I prefer it, but not being pinned is by no means a deal breaker. Judging by your pic, it does look like Boker is pinning the barlows. That's awesome!

The Expedition really is a great one! The combination of brass, micarta and the long pull just look phenomenal together. Of all the Boker barlows, the Expedition always seemed a bit of a cut above the rest to me, as far as fit and finish go.

How about the single blade version of the Brown Washboard Bone and C75? I think I agree with JohnDF JohnDF and would have preferred no shield on this, like the two bladed version. Still a wonderful knife though. Boker did a really good job on the bone imo.

Since they are no longer in my possession... Here are the only shots I have of the Olive and Stag Boker barlows. :)
