I believe that one is even more beautiful than its brother!!!!!! Exquisite! His barlows are really something special.

Augie's Barlow is a somewhat earlier one, before the jigging was changed to a finer Peachseed! 1920s to 1930s is my guess!

The jigging I've asked to Cosimo was of course inspired by the Ancient TC barlow . And Cosimo is really good in bone dying so the combo is beautiful .

That’s funny! That slip isn’t going anywhere just because my new TEW won’t fit into it. Kinda like my shirt from the Bucs Super Bowl win in 2003, I don’t fit into it anymore either, but it’s not going anywhere!

Our knifemaker friend Evan (ESNYX!)(haven't seen him for a while!!) handed that to me at the GEC Rendezvous Picnic!! It was a practice piece using the gunsmith's technique of "Checkering". I gave him the knife some weeks before, after using it for a while, and he gave it back to me after trying out the technique! He scored a home run with it!! What a nice gift!!
Here is an "Elephant" he checkered for me later!!

One doesn't normally think of checkering as a scale embellishment/ enhancement, but IMHO it can work if done well. As the examples above show.

The pachyderm is quite the nice-looking knife.
