I was answering by memory Augie and sometimes that isn't as good as it used to be. I think it is at least pre 1940 after looking further. If we can pin it down, I will put it in my knife records. I looked and did not have a year range for it in that space. Both blades marked the same:

Man I never knew I was such a huge sucker for nail nicks on TC's . I mean I've always preferred the nick over the long pull but these few fine examples really have me gushing. Thanks for sharing!! Too bad we might not ever see em again.

It has the rustic appearance yet feels so refined.
I also like the buttery color with hints of dark character.
