What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Holy cow Mr P!!!!!! To die for. I have never seen a keen cutter like that one with the stepped bolsters. Gawwwwwwww!!!!!:oops::oops:

My oh my oh my! Incredible john.
Thank you Dwight - maybe I got someone other than myself stirred up ! 😲 🤣
That old half dollar pictured with your fancy K'roo Barlow stirred me up a little more - it makes mine look all wore out. ;)😊

Wow Jack! Very unusual ... I can't make out the tang.
Thank you Dwight, more than one Sheffield firm made that pattern, but mine is by G. Batty & Co. Sorry for the slow reply my friend
Thank you Jack. Cool old knife. Creamy color hafts and I love the bolster.
Thanks Harvey

This one just moved in this week. The pull needs some work though - it is sooooo tight for a little blade with a 1/2 stop. A bit dangerous, truth be told. Nice looking little guy though.👍 AND - YUP - the bolsters are an uppy and a downy. ;)
