What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

A memorable Ancient!! :)
Your finest in my opinion Charlie, it was a bold knife to make, with great history, and a treasured gift of course :)
A trip down memory lane!! Before my carved initials!!:)View attachment 1829561

Initials with Black ink (scrimshaw), and later, silver ink!!View attachment 1829568View attachment 1829571
I like that it has your initials Charlie :)
I like your initials on it, as well. Thanks for showing it. You changed the course of the Primble River with that knife ! 🤣
My Ulster Barlow has similar features. I have always wondered how I could change the V to an L and make it my middle name. Probably should just mail it to Knowtracks one day.

Nice Ulster, Rob!! It looks like that Dave could be carefully sanded off, and replaced with a Rob!!
