What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

To my knowledge, GEC has never made a Russell branded knife.
Green Valley, Boker, and I believe Schrade did... and Tuna Valley uses that bolster stamp, but I don't think they use that tang stamp.
Lol, came up while I was typing :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:I believe some of these were German made in Solingen (maybe even Boker).
 
That looks like a quintessential perfect Barlow.

Is it a GEC-made with Russel Branding?
Others got in before me, no it's made I think BEFORE GEC even existed :eek: It is German made Green River (probably Böker) in carbon, heavy stamped bolster and thanks, it is a nice example. First rate snap, well finished back springs devoid of gaps.
