What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Thanks! I suspected as much; I have a Camco Barlow that has identical blades (except for long nail pulls) and black delrin scales with an identical sawcut pattern.

FA Bower sheepsfoot barlow, German made for US company, 1950's to 1980.

I missed out on the carbon steel versions of the 2019 Case Vault Barlow, but I managed to find a retailer that still had a few of the stainless versions in stock. Still in the sharpening process(the factory edges were atrocious), and I had to clamp it in the vise to tighten up some side wobble in the main blade. Still, I’d say that Case still makes a good Barlow.
