What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

It’s Sawcut Saturday! I finally found a couple of genuine sawcut bone Barlows in decent usable (one more so than the other) condition. Both are from separate Ebay sellers, but I think they are from the same manufacturer. The only markings they have are “Made in USA” on the tangs, which is good enough for me.

Clearly the owner didn’t learn anything from breaking the first blade (presumably when prying) because he/she went ahead and broke the other blade as well!IMG_3926.jpegIMG_3925.jpegIMG_3921.jpegIMG_3916.jpegIMG_3920.jpeg
