What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

I had reached out to SteveC SteveC for his insight as he had posted a very similar looking knife. His is a Northfield Un-X-Ld version.

Based on the information gathered to date, these may have been tribute knives made by Utica (Thank you SteveC SteveC !!!). Super well made barlows and hoping to get my hands on more of them...but have no idea how many different variations were created.

Ever so slight recurve on the main with half stop. No half stop on the secondary. Beautifully sculpted saw-cut bone covers. Deep bolster and tang stamps. A beauty!

What appears to be a factory edge was poorly beveled (you can kind of see on the picture close to the tang, with wavy bevel but not the edge) but sharp regardless.

Mystery continues :D
