What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?

Really nice, Primble, the Remington is beyond awesome!

Beautiful Remington. Sawcut bone is my favorite on Barlows.

This has made up my mind. I love it! Sawcut it's gonna be!

As always Primble - lovely knives!, that Remington has exceptional bone, but when looking at that awesome Keen Kutter - that Bone is just gorgeous as well!

Wow, those knives are gorgeous! But with that said...your photography skills are outstanding and add so much to our enjoyment of them, Thanks for that.

Well said!

I thank you too Primble for showing us some beautiful knives and your photography skills are inspiring. :)

Just splendid shots of some sumptuous knives, Primble! These pictures are some of your best work!!

You guys are just too kind - and I wondered if those old knives would get any attention at all - big thank you to all of you.:)

Nice old Barlows, Primble! Well photographed as usual!

The bone that's used on say the Boys knife, is the bone imported or is the bone from cattle here in the States?

CSIS, The cows were born and raised in the good ole' USA!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but according to my research, the ebony wood comes from India and Indonesia. The gabon ebony is from Africa.

Thank you for the comment, but, sorry, Charlie ! :(

Never feel sorry for a man/the king that owns a plane/the SFO.

We peasants have to get/be lucky if we get one at all. :o

But if I do get lucky - one might expect a pic or two or three or . . . . . :D:p:D

Somebody left the door open and hackers got in and spilled mal-ware all over the floor! We're mopping it up now. Just when things were going so smoothly... lol

The "Stew's Blade" Barlows look great, Charlie! I Can't wait to see them in person.

Sorry to hear about that Barry. Between the Paypal incident and this, it makes one wonder if there might be a thief/thieves lurking among us. :(:thumbdn:

Maybe we need to trade some of our Barlows in for swords. ;)

No rest for the wicked!!

Actually, they surprised me too!

We were just working on these labels yesterday - I guess the knives were backed up waiting for them!

Stew loved to fish! He retired on the Moira river, with a dock out at the end of his back yard. He was often out before most people were up in the morning!
