What Makes a Good, Traditional Barlow?
Well this one does in every way, shape and forum:thumbup: Ever since I was little, if I was outside playing I always came home dirtier than all of my friends---I have a knack of getting dirty---it's not that I'm not careful but when it comes to play or work I just get dirty
Last night I brought out my favorite knife of ALL time---my Clip/Pen Gabon Ebony Barlow---carried for over a year---EVERYDAY!!! I have never taken to any knife like I've take to this one. So my list off worked related things consisted of, on my back under my van (on gravel) of course using my Barlow to cut away some nylon Sisal that somehow became attached to the under carriage of my Van:thumbup:
Cutting caution tape to keep patrons out of an area I was painting above them, sliced the sheathing off some 12 gauge solid wire, reduce cardboard to fit in the recycle bin as well as some other light duty chores. So after cleaning my knife last night, oiling the joints she's back to her dirty ole self---oh well, nothing 10 minutes won't fix
By the way, this pales in comparison to Ed's #15 Tar knife
